Here in France the official propaganda is that we are a world leader, the best education, health system, that we know and do everything thus at the end that we should be thankful to our elite for living in a country on the cutting edge! Our exterior foreign views are for our old allies (and sometimes enemies) Britain and America and all the others country are small, irrelevant, old colonies and under developed! And so, movies we saw on TV or at screen are French, American and sometimes English: it's like the world is really how it appears in them and every body is happy Except that, if the curious citizen picks a Bollywood movie, he is amazingly stunned: it's India and Asia that are on the cutting edge and West looks old and decadent! In this movie, clothes, car, homes and places shines and are in style Sure India looks conservative and prude for our western standard (this cheating movie is labeled adults only!) but maybe it's not a bad thing as every one looks more serious, clean and responsible. I give it 7 cuz' I like it a bit, the best movie from Sunny Leone so far. Nothing "big" happen for us to hold our breath or something. It have some interesting moment, especially the part when Urvil is in his car with his wife, who expect that? One thing this movie lack is it have no big moment, the climax is good, but it just keep slowing down in the end, totally waste its climax buildup. Even though its cliché its not so predictable. This movie, for me is quite interesting, it have some twist that's quite unexpected. Sunny Leone is the main attraction for this movie, too bad, all her previous movie left some bad impression to the audiences so they don't really want to watch her anymore. I know its not fair to compare 1 Night Stand with those blockbuster, but it shows that Indian don't really care about Sunny Leone, they just want to see a good movie. I understand why her movie got such a low rating, because all of her movie before this is "bad", even though Indian have million of loyal Bollywood follower, they crave for a good movie, when movie like "3 Idiot" (2009), "P.K" (2014) & "Dangal"(2016) come out (I'm Aamir Khan fan!) they like them so much they even gave them a really high rating, 8.0 to 9.0 without any hesitation. Careful, your slip is showing.įinally, Sunny Leone got some decent movie for her, which is not just to only showcase her beauty, but to tell some story as well. For a film which wants to strike a blow for feminism and sexual freedom, there are some troubling misogynistic touches about 'hot' secretaries, and 'stay-at-home' wives.

The only person with any acting cred here is Ninad Kamat, who lifts the film whenever he is on. Right now, she is gorgeous to look at, but we know that already, and struggling to emote, which has been her bugbear in her last few outings as well. Even her bump and grind is same old: this 'duniya' is still 'pittal di' where's the gold? She will need to seriously up her act overall, and delivering dialogue is part of it, to be able to call herself an actress. Where's the heat?Sunny Leone is picture perfect, managing a couple of felt expressions in only a few scenes.

Ms Leone's vaunted past as an adult entertainer, the sole reason why you presume this film has been made, have been successfully and sadly tamped by Bollywood. But it is unable to build on it, remaining yet another stab at a 'desi' 'Fatal Attraction, saddled with an inept plot and shallow acts. Why should boys have all the fun, why can't girls too? Why not indeed? Good question, and amply answered by all the heavings and writhings, but, and this is the thing, they are surprisingly tame. That he, self-confessed Casanova who is always adding another notch on his well-shucked belt, can't get her out of his head, and she, mysterious lady of the night, can't be bothered, is the cool curve the film throws out. Both Urvil (Tanuj Virwani) and the woman who calls herself Celina (Sunny Leone) realise that a little bit of unthinking lust can cause, um, complications. No spoilers there, because the plot point is inherent in the film's title: can't get more explicatory than that, can it? It's when the roll in the hay is done and dusted, and both parties return to terra ferma, that this film starts getting a little interesting.
